October 9, 1967- Assassination of Military Revolutionist Che Guevars
The revolutionist and military theorist Che Guevara was assassinated by the Bolivian army. He was assassinated because they saw him as a treat. They thought that he could stop there army. Could you imagine if he wasn’t assassinated? The South American country of Bolivian probably would be destroyed.
August 9, 1968- Assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy
Senator Robert F. Kennedy is assassinated by Sirhan. He was tricked to go through a short cut and was shot in a kitchen. His body guard told him not to go, but he went anyway. He should have known. I mean who takes directions from suspicious character. All the signs point to an

November 10, 1969- Sesame Street
The famous show that mostly everybody knows is made. That shows wan none other than Sesame Street. It is one of the most famous children show in history. There is a lot of merchandise, spinoffs and a lot of other things based off of it. You could see how much of a success it was. If you were ever a kid you probably have heard of this show.
1970- Break Up of Beatles
The famous boy band the Beatles break up. Little girls everywhere thought it was the end of the world. Nobody during that time had a day without hearing a girl crying ‘Truly a dark day for everyone’. Then later on some members of the Beatles would go on to have tragedies in their lives. There are 2 left today.

April 22, 1970- The first Earth Day
The first Earth day takes place. People appreciate the planet and help it by recycling and cleaning parks and other areas of the community. A senator named Gaylord Nelson started Earth day to help the planet. Now it is a worldwide phenomenon. Everybody celebrates it. Slowly the world is being a better place because of Earth day.
September 18, 1970- Death of Jimi Hendrix
One of the most influential musicians in history Jimi Hendrix dies at the age of 27. The cause of his death was him swallowing his vomit where it landed in a part of the respiratory system causing him to stop breathing. He also had an addiction problem. That could have been one reason he vomited. Even do he is dead his messages still lives on. Many people still love him.
